Plain English, Please

Dan Stilicho highlights an issue with the entry for 'Web 2.0' - basically it was so full of business-speak and marketing catchphrases that it was almost illegible.

The entry is now being edited by Dan so as to be readable, but you can read excerpts of the original entry, and his comments, at his blog.

It contains such gems as:

"The technology dichotomy of standards based content syndication formats and service invocation endpoints provide the infrastructural essence of Web 2.0."

Yes, right. Anyone who writes like this should probably employ the services of these people.
